Owner listing pack
Reach Trade Me buyers from your own account.
Your Motor Match listing pack gives you everything you need to list on Trade Me yourself, with enquiries flowing back to one place.
Your photos
Full-resolution professional photos ready to upload, with location data removed.
Your approved description
The same description and specs you approved for Motor Match, ready to copy.
Your enquiry number and email
A dedicated phone number and email address for your car, so interest lands in your portal.
Step by step
Five steps, about fifteen minutes.
We never ask for your password
Your Trade Me account stays yours. Motor Match will never ask for your Trade Me password, sign in as you, or ask you to change your account email to a Motor Match address. Forwarding only Trade Me's buyer emails gives the same result without anyone else controlling your account.
- 1
Open your listing pack
Once your Motor Match listing is approved, your portal shows the pack: download the photos, copy the approved description and specs. - 2
Create the listing in your own Trade Me account
Sign in to Trade Me as you normally would and create a new motors listing. You are the advertiser, and you pay any Trade Me fees directly to Trade Me. - 3
Use your Motor Match enquiry details
Add the enquiry phone number and email address shown in your pack as your contact details, so calls and emails for this car arrive in your Motor Match portal. - 4
Forward Trade Me questions (optional)
Trade Me sends buyer questions to your account email. Our guided setup shows you how to add a filter in Gmail or Outlook that forwards only emails from Trade Me to your car's Motor Match address. It takes about two minutes. - 5
Paste your listing link back
Add your Trade Me listing link in your portal so it is shown alongside your other channels, and update or withdraw it when your car sells.
