Each service below is provided by an independent business under its own terms and prices. With your consent, Motor Match introduces you, records the status and coordinates timing with your deal. We do not give financial, insurance or mechanical advice, and partner charges are always shown separately from Motor Match fees.
Finance support
Provided by: Independent finance partner
Buyers who need finance are referred, with their consent, to a specialist finance partner and apply through the partner's own secure process. Sellers can follow funding progress on the deal.

Trade-in placement

Have a car to sell before you buy? Request an offer from a partner wholesaler and use the proceeds towards your purchase.
Enter your current car by rego, add photos, condition and any finance owing.
With your consent, a partner wholesaler for your region reviews it and may make an offer with its own conditions and expiry.
Your car is collected only when your purchase is ready and you confirm.
Proceeds go to you, your lender or to escrow at your direction, never to Motor Match.

Buying from another city? Get a transport quote for depot or door delivery, with the carrier and the cost shown separately.
Get a quote for common city pairs, depot or door, open or enclosed.
Request a custom quote for anything else.
Booking details, condition report and carrier acceptance are shared with both parties.
The carrier's own terms apply to the transport.
ID-checked viewings
Provided by: Identity verification provider
Before a viewing at an owner's home is confirmed, the buyer completes an identity check with our verification provider and books a time the owner has made available.
Buyers complete an ID check on their phone with a driver licence or passport and a live selfie.
Owners see only that a buyer is verified, never their ID images.
Viewings are booked into times the owner has made available, with reminders for both sides.
Independent escrow
Provided by: iPromise
The purchase price is paid to iPromise, an independent escrow provider, and released under the agreed terms. Motor Match never holds purchase money.
The purchase price is paid to iPromise through a secure link in your portal.
Funds are released under the agreed terms after handover and the required confirmations.
Motor Match never receives, holds or releases purchase money.
Insurance and warranty

Optional cover may be offered by providers, with the provider, price and cover summary shown before you choose. Cover starts only when the provider confirms it.
Where available, optional products are shown with the provider, price, cover summary and expiry.
Choosing a product is not the same as being covered: cover starts only when the provider confirms it.
No product is ever required to buy a car on Motor Match.
